17 July 2014 marks two years since we lost Susan (I like to think of her as more mislaid and we’ll find her again sometime). It would have also been her 50th birthday year. So as a tribute to her life Shelley, Gareth and I will be cycling From London, leaving on the 17th and hopefully arriving in Paris on the 19th of July.Updates
We did it :-)
28th July 201419 hours 7 mins in the saddle to cover 219 miles. Max speed 37 mph, min speed must have been when G fell off.
Max temp 37 degrees on the day we had the steepest longest most hideous climb.
But we did Susan proud, I’m sure she would have loved to have done it.
